Jim Rogers, CEO and SME, has over 25 years of industry Cyber Security Experience in the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Jim started his career here in Pensacola as an enlisted person being trained in Electronic Warfare and Cryptologic operations. Jim served on multiple US Navy warships during his tenure in the US Navy. During Jim’s last tour of Duty in Norfolk, Virginia in the Mid 1990’s, he began his journey into Cyber security and has completed both a BS and MS in Cyber Security and received Graduate Certificates from the National Defense University as well as many top industry Cyber Security Certifications.

In these 25 years, Jim has served in many Cyber Security Roles including Cyber Security Chief for National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, Chief Information Security Officer for Naval Research Laboratory and for his last Civilian post he served as a Chief Technologist for Naval Air Systems Command in the office of Special Surveillance Programs. This position provided Jim with immense experience and knowledge with Advanced C4ISR platforms including Manned Aircraft, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Tethered Systems.

In late 2013 after a long career with the Military and the Federal government, Jim started his own Cyber Security Firm, SCSS, LLC, that specialized in assisting the DoD and the Intelligence Community with developing more robust security profiles for their C4ISR systems. In 2017, Jim decided to focus his Cyber Security support efforts in local Pensacola Area and sold SCSS.

In 2018 Jim and his business partners launched ARGO Cyber Systems to provide local Cyber Security expertise to the local community.
